The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid // Windsor Rose 32

To start this year off I am going to be making a new series (Liquid Lipsticks, good or not?). This series of blog posts are inspired by Stephanie Nicole's series where she review liquid lipsticks (I will link her YouTube down below ).

The first Liquid Lipstick I have is The Body Shop Matte Lip Liquid in the shade 032 Windsor Rose.
This shade is a brown nude colour which would be suitable for work and school. I really enjoy this colour as is somewhat ties my makeup look together. You can use this colour when trying to keep the attention on a bold eye look or just for a natural look.

This liquid lipstick is priced at £6. However, I did get it in a set of three (Windsor Rose, Paris Peony and Sydney Amaryllis) for £12 which was essentially buy two get one free. The Body Shop have a range of 12 shades ranging from nudes to light purple.

These liquid lipsticks have a shelf life of 18 months, are cruelty free and vegetarian. They are not vegan as they contain beeswax. These are promised to 'slide on like a gloss', I must say they do apply very nicely however the formula is a bit clumpy. I tried shaking the tube and that smoothed out the liquid lipstick. They also last a very long time as promised.

The liquid lipsticks contain natural ingredients which explains the fact that they are £6 per liquid lipstick. However for he amount of product it is a very reasonable price because it has a lot of product compared to normal liquid lipsticks.

In one tube there are 8 ml or 0.2 US FL Oz.

Here is a copy of the ingredients:
Isohexadecane, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Dimethicone, Cera Alba/Beeswax/Cire Dabeille, Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Talc, Propylene Carbonate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Silica, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Benzoate, Parfum/Fragrance, Aqua/Water/Eau, Benzyl Alcohol, Linalool, Geraniol, Limonene, CI 77891/Titanium Dioxide, CI 15850/Red 6, CI 19140/Yellow 5 Lake.

There is nothing in the ingredients that I can see that would cause any harm when applied on too my lips.

Overall I really enjoy these lipsticks and I will be certainly purchasing more.
On a slightly less happy note I do wish they would have a larger selection of colours as they mainly consist of nudes and dusy pinks.

These are my favourite liquid lipsticks so far as they wear very nice and the range of colours they have suit me nicely. The are also an appropriate price and contain a high amount of product.
