Hi,
Today I am reviewing the Zoella Bath Latte. This is from the collection Sweet Inspirations. While I do not watch many of Zoe's videos anymore I still get excited when she releases new products as I find them very high quality. However, I felt that the packaging was a bit childish and slightly outdated but with the sweet inspirations range my view has completely changed because I feel the packaging is sleek and professional.
Ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide MEA, Parfum (Fragrance), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Benzyl Alcohol, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Acrylic Acid/Acrylamidomethyl Propane Sulfonic Acid Copolymer, PEG-150 Distearate, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Disodium EDTA, Benzophenone-4, Olus (Vegetable) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Pearl Powder, Citric Acid, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Lactis Proteinum (Milk Protein) Extract, Mel (Honey) Extract.
There isn't anything in this product that worries me.
The Zoella Bath Latte is a bath and shower milk that has sweet almond, cacao and honey. It is said to leave you skin feeling silky and soft. I have too agree with this as my skin was like a baby's. To use this you can either pour it under warm water when running a bath to create sweet scented bubbles or use in the shower as a wash and then rinse it off with warm water afterwards. I have tested both ways and I will touch on how good it was later. You can also defiantly tell there is honey in this product as it has a soft sweet scent but I you don't like sweet scents I would not recommend this product to you.
The packaging is a blue and gold (the gold is holographic) and has a Z imprinted into the plastic just above the label. It is also shaped in an old fashioned milk bottle which is very cute and nice. I am a huge an of the packaging as I find it professional and easy to store away from my family so they aren't cheeky and us use it all ;)
Because the product has a thick texture sometimes you can use a little too much in the bath. Now it is easy to do this because I feel that it doesn't create many bubbles which is a shame as I like a bubbly bath. However, it does make the bath look a milky white and the scent is just delightful in and out of the container. After draining the bath I saw that the smell lingered but it wasn't very strong this was nice as I do like things smelling clean and nice.
Once I got out o the bath I found my skin feeling soft and clean which is nice because that is what the product is meant to do. It was also very moisturizing meaning that my skin was not drained of all moisture and left feeling dry.
When using it in the shower it is hard too not use too much as the mixture is that thick and gloopy so I find wen you are near to the top of the 'milk bottle' it is easier too use your fingers and scoop out a little bit and then use a loufer to spread the product around you body. The scent then wafts around you and it smells divine. I find using this product better this way because the scent somewhat clings to you skin making you smell very nice. It is also better because you are focusing the product on you skin resulting in it working better.
Overall I really enjoy this product but I don't use it all the time as it is £6 for 400 ml but when using the product you can use too much and use about 1/4 of the bottle on accident. However, when I do run out of this product I defiantly will re-buy.
Totally recommend this product I you like soft, sweet macroon like smell but not if you don;'t :)
