Today will be reviewing the Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Lipstick. These lipsticks are the same as their old one just in a lovely rose gold packaging.
I got two of the colours. I got Chauffeur , which is a nudey brown colour, and Private Members Club, which is a dark purple colour. In this range there are 5 colours: Chauffer, Red Carpet, Best Friend, Diamond Lie and Private Members Club. These are not very adventurous colours as it is just 1 nude, a red, a pink and two similar looking purples.Each lipstick is £3.00 each. These lipsticks have a promise which is that they should be 'Comfortable to wear, high coverage formula with buildable colour.'. I agree as the lipstick is creamy and not drying at all. It doesn't dry down fully though which makes it easy to smudge the lipstick and it isn't transfer proof hat so ever so you would need to re apply quite a bit.
Chauffer is a brown nude which is beautiful when applied with a neutral eye colour. The colour is a little bit on the pink side. Which is okay but be wary I you have a dark skin tone (mine is ivory just or reference.)Private Members Club is one of the purples. This one however is less vampy than the other . It is slightly more muted. This one is my favourite and looks really nice with a dark shade in the crease of your eye.
The smell o the product is mostly like the average smell of a lipstick but with a hint of vanilla. The smell is unnoticeable when the product is on your lips.Chauffer Ingredients:
Mineral Oil, Polybutene, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Microcrystalline Wax, Mica, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Propylparaben, BHT, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), D & C Red No. 7 (CI 15850).
Private Members Club:
Mineral Oil, Polybutene, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Microcrystalline Wax, Mica, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Propylparaben, BHT, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), D & C Red No. 7 (CI 15850), FD & C Blue No. 1 (CI 42090).
There I nothing in these lipsticks that causes me any concern when applying to my lips.
Overall, I really like this product but unfortunately I won't be buying anymore because there are no other colours that would suit me. However, I they do bring out more colours that I take a fancy to I would defiantly buy them.
