Essence Matt Matt Matt longlasting lipgloss

This is my second instalment in my new series of blogposts where I review liquid lipsticks. This was inspired by Stephanie Nicole a you tuber who tries out liquid lipsticks and includes check ns. Her YouTube will be linked at the end of the blog posts :)

In this blog post I will be reviewing the essence Matt Matt Matt longlasting lipgloss. I currently have two shades: Simply Be an Icon (05) and Beauty-Approved (02). These liquid lipsticks are very creamy and smooth however when I swatched them on my hand the transferred onto the sleeve of my shirt.

The dopher is a classical one and the product was smooth and silky when applied to my lips. Beauty-Approved applied evenly and was very moisturising. However, Simply Be An Icon applied very streaky. I assume that is just because of the colour of the liquid lipstick and not all the fault is on the formula.

The product is said to dry matte and it does but it is also very cream meaning that is transfers very easily. On the other hand if you love moisturising lipsticks then you will really like this if you don't mind the fact that is transfers.

This product is vegetarian and cruelty free. It is not vegan as it contains beeswax which is used as a moisturising agent. The tube that it comes in is quite large compared to my other liquid lipsticks but contains the least amount of product but is at the cheapest price (approx. £2.00)

This lipstick really confused me because it says too be matte but is a lipgloss? This means that when I applied it after about 1 hour it came off and it let residue on my cup that I drank out of.

It is available in 5 different shades:

• Girl Of Today
• Ready, Steady, Impress
• Simply Be An Icon (I own)

None of these ingredients cause me too worry when applying this products to my

lips.

Ingredients:

HYDROGENATED DIDECENE, TALC, POLYBUTENE, SILICA DIMETHYL SILYLATE, CERA ALBA (BEESWAX), DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, C26-28 ALKYL DIMETHICONE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE, SODIUM SACCHARIN, AROMA (FLAVOR), CI 15850, CI 42090, CI 77491 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77492 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).

None of the ingredients cause me any worry to put this product on my lips.
